I just recently finished a Haltech Sport 1000 install and tune on a 04 Subaru WRX; all I can say is that I'm amazed, only 3 wires needed to be hooked up using Haltech plug and play loom and it only took 30 min from plugging the Haltech up to safely fine tuning out the boost tables. I was absolutely stunned at how accurate and repeatable the air fuels were using Haltech's new VE tuning method.
Every option that I enabled worked absolutely flawless, including closeloop fuel control. Close loop fuel control constantly monitors your air fuels and adjust your base fuel tables as needed on the fly using short term and long term fuel trims. Basically during light load the ecu will auto adjust to hit specified air fuels spot on. I've honestly never used a ems that has such an effective closed loop fuel control setup.
