Ecu's
- Haltech Platinum Sport 1000, target 18psi
- This car will be retuned soon with a stock ecu and open source. Targets are expected to be 22psi and ~6 degrees more timing. I will find our timing limitations with the stock ecu and maybe consider going back to the Haltech with new values.
- Haltech is a great ems, it would be better suited for this car if it were a full drag car.
- Open source really is her best option as daily driven street car. The stock ecu has loads of features and failsafe's that could save her engine during a fuel system failure.
- The Open source dynamic timing tables really allow us to automatically add and remove timing on the fly. We have a better idea of what the cylinder pressures are with the stock ecu. It allows us to push everything further, fuel, timing and boost. There is a night and day, bus length difference in top end power.
- I can make either ecu run, startup smoother than stock and hit repeatable air fuels, day in, day out.
- The haltech is a great ecu, but so is the stock oem ecu. I would like to see this Haltech on a track only project of ours.
